  • are these lites [or nonlites] right?

i have never ridden my 1980 1100 in the dark since i bought it and never noticed this, but while leavin early this a.m. i started it to warm and noticed the only lites to come on were the head, tail, and license plate. no driving lites in the turn sigs. is this how it is supposed to be??

If the speedo and tach light don't come on either, you bike may not be charging. Search out the threads on charging system problems.

If it's a Special, It does not have "running" lights. The Standards have the two amber lights in front on with the tail lights.

Mine doesn't have "running" lights on the turn signals. Only the head and tail lights, along with the spedo and tach. As Ray has said, Specials didn't have them
