    In someplaces we have to watch because HID lights aren't legal in all areas yet.

    However, there are a number of factory cars that come with them, so I don't know how the cops are dealing with them. I just keep mine aimed properly and try not to cause any unwanted attention.

      I dont know if the HID are are legal in all states in USA or not,but I called the Norwegian Road Authorities about it,and thet said that as long as the equipment (usually only on the ballast) are marked "E4" they are legal in Europe. But I think there is a difference in the headlight glass for Europe versus USA: In Europe the glass are asymmetric-leading some of the light to the right side (Except UK where it is opposite because they drive on the left side) ,I think the glass is symmetric in USA? Anyway-it is nice to improve the lights on our bikes,but there is a limit for what will be acceptable for the oncoming traffic! It is not good if eyes are blinded by the lights !
