I found some Apex Stainless Steel brake lines for $70, 3 fronts and 1 rear, before I bought them I thought I'd check. What is your opinion on them?

That's what I am running on my bike and they work just fine. I would get plastic coated lines though if they sell the non-coated ones.
Just be careful for a few rides after the install. They will be much touchier. I had to re-learn the brakes on mine.

There are some on ebay right now
Don't know what kind they are, but the price is 70 dollars for all 4 lines
bolts and washers. Which to me sounds like a great deal
Are the hoses on the standard and specials the same length?Gary

I bought a set a couple of weeks ago from the guy on ebay. The auction listing was for a special but they custom made the upper front brake line to fit a standard and sold them to me for the same price. I haven't installed them yet but they look right, the price was right and the customer service was very good. The lines have a clear plastic coating, BTW
