I have been using K & N oil filters. I can order them at my local shop. I have found that I can get them cheaper at Dennis Kirk. The run around $10 + shipping. K & N part # KN146. I do find the rubber gasket that comes with them is a little large, so I cut it and seal it back together with some gasket maker.

also got a fram at advance auto for 5 bucks with o rings, autozone did not carry them, I will be interested in further thoughts about which ones filter or flow best if somebody cuts them up. always liked fram but reconsidering now.

        Oil filters

        Hi Guys,
I get my filters from K&N (about $7.00) and use 20-50 Amsoil motorcycle oil. I've been told by A lot of different mechanics that the car oi does'nt have the proper additives in it.You can take what you want from this info though. have A nice night.
