    That would make them just over $37 as set shipped to some lucky person in the US who would then be responsible to re-ship them to all the buyers.

      I wish I had a spare $1600 laying around. Someone could get $50 a set plus shipping.. make a little money eventually, and help several out in the process. It would be a tough bite to buy them sight unseen quality-wise though.

        I'm with you Todd. How can you be sure they arent of cheap quality until in hand? Would they return 45 sets of carb boots? hahaha.

        ...Then if they did they'd charge you another $107 shipping, lol

          Sample requested for evaluation

          It is not uncommon for a distributor to offer a sample of one boot for evaluation, with the customer paying up front frt and cost, with cost being returned if boot returned, less frt charge. Maybe we could get a sample shipped for UPS flat rate box shipment, reduced cost.
          Samples have no customs duties if labeled as such.

          If we ask for the sample and if approved, we were obligated for a full shipment of the boots, the distributor may take us up on the deal.

                I'd take a set for the $40 as long as they aren't poor quality boots.

                  I'd take 3 which makes the call 7 and I think Tod and "Dell82" are interested in a set each as well which is 9. "Res1uqtp" previously stated he needed 2 sets and "Mindwebs" and "81xsproject" 1 set which makes 13 so far.

                  I think whoever did this wouldn't be sitting on the remainder long. There'd only be 32 sets left as of right now if only 45 were ordered.

                    * UPDATE *

                    I ordered a set of these back at the end of July - after several 'out of stock' and 'estimated delivery date' emails from the company, I decided to call them.

                    Turns out they can't get them anymore... bah ! (I reckon they just realised the price was so slow) - they offered me a set of 'Genuine Yamaha' boots for 90 pounds... which I declined.

                    Oh well... like they say, if it looks too good to be true....
