  • Fuel / Vacumn hose specs

Anyone have this info handy for a 79 standard?
Hose diameters and lengths would be great to know as the present lines are inaccurate.

Links to info on this would be appreciated too.

The parts micro fisch only gives a part number, no dims. On my '78 I use 1/4 in id for the fuel and 3/16 for vacume cut to fit. Good time to add an inline fuel filter.

MikesXs sells 1/4" and 3/16" and it works well on my XS11's

      Part #20-4010, and #20-4009

$1US for 11.5" pieces. They also have the clips.

Will the XS650 petcocks and rebuild kits from mikes work on the XS1100s's? I'm getting ready to replace my fuel system (back to stock) and would like to rebuild my petcocks or replace them with manuals

I am not too sure about all models.

I do know that with my 1980 special that part # 20-0050 and 20-0051 will not work.

Here is a thread I started

There are good petcock rebuild kits for the 11 in ebay store. Store name is Georgefix.

The MikesXs petcocks will work on a Standard tank. The ne drawback is you have to use the same petcock on both sides of the tank, so one one side the on position is forward and on the other side the on position is backward. Small issue. The best thing is they have an "off" position. I hgave them on one of my '79 Standards.

What a Figgin' headache... I think for the price and trouble, I'll just wait for good ones on ebay. Thanks for the heads up on the rebuild kits, might be worth the investment just to have them on hand.
