    Msd Ignition

    Has anyone tried to put one on their xs? If so, how is it?

      you have to use there coils with the unit, total about $500 for the box and coils

        MSD has always been great on high performance cars but 500 bucks seems a little to high for no more bang than you're going to get out of it. Those Dynacoils sound like the way to go to me. Motorcycle products from motorcycle people. Not some name looking for a new market. MSD fades out above 3000 rpm anyway. Not exactly ideal for a bike. Also it tends to like higher primary voltage (14 or more) something else we ain't got a lot of. Garry

                I agree they, don't go for much on eBay. I gave one away on eBay last year. I'm keeping my spare ignition black box for just in case.
