Looks to me as if this is another common part from all years of standard. I am not certain, but I have never heard of it being different from a standard to a special. The parts diagrams do not show a different number in some years, but a different numbering series, as in I would believe it is the same throughout all years. Again, this is my best guess only.

Cool thanks for the info! Tried doing a search but this wasn't addressed anywhere else. Anyway the PO called and found another bucket full of parts and the rear axle was included in them! Along with the missing petcock, and carb shoes...
