The Stealth Fighter! Welcome. Nice job. I got a project in November too. No one I would be riding it now if it wasn't for the people on this forum. This place is all that the internet can be.

          Hi Jason and welcome,
so you ran out of black paint? The "after" photo still shows small patches of chrome.
Seriously though, a good looking machine.

Thanks TopCat, I figured some mns purest might not like it w/o gold. but this bike was rough three coats of paint on everything. I had to strip all the parts so I painted them black. Not a big fan of gold. my wedding band is white gold I thaught I was doing good saving this bike from its ill fated future.I guess you cant please them all

Heck it was only half a MNS at best anyway from what I see. I'm not a huge fan of going black out, just for the visability factor. But to each their own. Now, if that was the original MNS exhaust you took off and did not save, then some one is going to want your head. lol

when I got it the exhaust was in horrible shape. the mufflers were just hanging there.the welds where broken off and tons of road rash . I believe the po's had problems keeping it rubber side down the mufflers are still in my garage put are not useable. I do agree that it was at best half a mns.

I thought the same thing until I started looking at the original pic... most of the gold wasn't the original finish anyway...

I like the blacked out look...
