  • Vacu-Tite Vacuum "T"s for Fuel line

The guys at Checker did'n't know if I could use Vacu-tite Vacuum connectors for the fuel lines. Does anyone know if they are ok to use with fuel?

I have actual Fuel T connectors on the way from a dealership, but they are a week out and I want to see if this thing will start after being rebuilt.

Don't leave 'em there too long. Go to Ace Hardware and get some brass ones.

Thanks Phil, But I live in the boondocks. People who live in the middle of nowhere come here to get away from it all. I have parts on order from the web and will change these out after I fire it up and see if the engine will run.

I don't even need to ride it, I just want to see if i have done things correctly or if it is time to start searching craigslist.

Nearest TrueValue is in Roswell. An hour away. The True Value building has been vacant since I moved here.

              Sorry
