    plugs getting black

    ok tried hotter plugs and the middle 2 plugs pretty much stopped fowling but the 2 outer still did. so i tried adjusting the air screw to make the mixture less lean and that didnt help. could it be that the coil for the outer 2 plugs. doesnt give good spark. and i would like to know if idling will the plugs soot up. this mornig when i went out and started it and let it run for a little while. all the plugs sooted up. LOL guess i am not a machanic

    You don't happen to have individual filters, do you? Have you done any jetting work? Any float adjustment?

      Yes, idling will soot up the plugs.
