Ok...
1st Always remember that even though you wear the pants in the family SHE is the one that takes them OFF.
Next, it isn't rocket science to make a washable filter. EMGO and K&N use the same filter media. I highly doubt that one is better than the other.
Last, I just put my filters upside down in a bucket of shop solvent and swish a couple times. Let them air dry and spray them down with what ever aerosol oil is close. PAM is really sticky for dirt.
Maybe next time I will use Pledge. hehe
