Ok, so I'm going through the engine removal steps... I'm on step 25. "Pull back the rubber boot and remove the four bolts securing the drive shaft coupling." How in the &*()_ am I supposed to get these *&()_ bolts to even MOVE? I was standing on the rear brake pedal and pulling on my wrench while bent over the bike and the bolt wouldn't budge. I'm open for suggestions.

Tap wrench with a hammer, allow the shaft to turn a little, and then do next bolt. The hammer will allow you to give each bolt one or three "sharp" to break loose. If the rear wheel is turning while you try this, put a 2X4 through the spokes to hold the wheel.Ray Matteis

DiverRay, you're officially my new hero. I couldn't get my hammer in to tap on the bolts but I grabbed a large bar and put it in the spokes and was able to break all of them loose. Thank you very much for the quick reply. You're a life saver. If you don't own a fire extinguisher, do me a personal favor and go purchase one... immediately.

Glad I could help! I'll "let" you buy me a beer NEXT time I'm in Indy. It HAS been a few years, but I've been there three times for different work related trips.Ray Matteis
