      Hey Lee,

I would look a bit more closely at the illumination diagram on the package!!!

These are FOG lights, they are designed to light up WIDE and close to the ground and the vehicle, not far out ahead of you down the road. Those fancy fluted lenses on the front are FRESNEL prisms, and they divert the light across the front, now OUT down the road!

You might want to look into getting some rectangular DRIVING lights with clear cut lenses, so that you will be able to see the road, curves, deer, etc. down the road far enough to be able to react to it!! JAT!

        Blinded by the light

yep, topcat nailed that on the head.

you need DRIVING lights, not fog lights.. Sorry dude.

but the good news is that there are many manufactures that make similar
        styled driving lights.

as a side note, you can also get H3 bulbs rated @ 90 watt low 100 watt high

i have one in my ninja.. haven't been pulled over for that.... nuf said...

these are available at most sled/snowmobile shops (for off-road use) and
at stereo system shops that carry import racer crap.

        LOTS AND LOTS OF LIGHT.

just check your wiring after 5-10minutes of run time to be sure the wiring is
heavy enough to handle the extra load.
