  • Shift cover seal?

has anyone replaced the shifter shaft seal on the cover bike bandit doesn't show them any other place carry them

Bike bandit does show them, it's P/N 4983-001 and they're $5.70 each. Or, you could go to a local bearing shop and ask 'em for a 12-22-5 seal.

That's funny, it didn't show up in the fiche on bikebandit when i looked, have they changed the way their site works? I just looked again and there it was. First search only showed 13 schematics, now it shows 46 schematics!

Why don't you go break something, Tod so you can fix it and tell us all about the repair.
