lit up!
So I replaced the headlight on the 78 which has a special headlight bucket , It had a sealed beam and I got a halogen lens and bulb for 23 bucks off fleabay man what a difference I can actually see at night , and forget about the bright it lights up every thing . it has a plain bulb in there and the color is good . the weirdest thing is when you hold your hand in front of the beam you can feel the heat even @ 12'' out, the lens is not that hot but the beam is like a laser!!

I changed mine out on the fairing, I have a Vetter Windjammer II.
It had a sealed beam like you had, really terrible.
Went with a Cibie reflector with Osram 65/80W H4.
I ran 10 Ga wires(POS and GND) with Heavy Duty relays.
For a single, this thing throws a lot of fire out there. It is such a difference.
Don't need no AUX lights!
