Where to buy Tires???

    problem solved

    I found a guy right by me that is a Parts Unlimited Dealer and can get me parts on the cheap! I bought both tires for 165.XX. They are Dunlops and a nice tread pattern!

      I found this dealer online, but upon further inspection I discovered that their retail shop is about 15 miles from my house! I found the prices favorable, especially since I didn't have to pay for shipping.

      JMHO - There are a number of things that are ok to cheap-out on, but I firmly believe that tires do not fall into this category. They are way too important.
      I know this, because Tyler knows this.

            I bought both of those from Motorcycle Superstore, rear was a 2008 tire , front was a 2005 .

              No its not for balancing too but to mount and balance its 20 each tire.... Its in Huffman, Tx. Just on the other side of Lake houston From me! If you want some the number is 281-324-9405 FAT RAT CYCLES

              they specialize in harleys really only but they are a partsunlimited dealer and can get the parts pretty cheap!!!

                I took Bigfoot's advice and got some shinkos from Motorcycle superstore. I think the 712s. They were $93 for both tires.

                I dismounted and mounted the new tires in my garage with a couple screwdrivers in a little under an hour. Took them to the shop to get balanced.

                Rode them around tonight, and the seem to be pretty decent so far.

                    No, it is still mounted on my other wheel. If you want it you'll have to wait and see if Tod is still drooling over it for his XJ.
