speedo cluster

will the speedo/tach turn sig cluster from a 79 special, fit on and wire to my 80 special??
my p.o busted mine and there is a nice one on ebay.
any info appreciated.

Just swapped an '81 to a '79. Had no problems!

If there are more than three bolts holding it on there, it is most likely a very important part!
