My makeover is almost complete!!!

Here is what it looked like when I first got it for $350.


Here is after the fzr1000 forks with a special tank.


and here it is just about done all I need is a seat cover and a few odds and ends. and the seat is off a seca with the stock cowl on it. Also decided to put the stock tank back on and rattle canned it.

Also put pod filters and 4 into 1 pipe. This thing handles so much better and the braking is much improved. The install was not very hard either a little grinding and some spacers and it fit like a glove. and I am still in at under $1000. Not a bad deal at all.

fzr forks

Your front end swap looks great. I may consider doing this myself. Did the triple tree bolt right up to the steering head, or were some modifications required?

The triple tree did require some modification. Where it slides over the yoke I had to grind it out some to fit over it. Due to the longer yoke it has to slide down farther from where it normally would sit. Also I had to drill holes for the handlebar clamps, but you could use clip-ons if you would prefer but it seemed to me they would be to low.
