I'm trying to rebuild my calipers but can't find a rebuild kit. I was wondering if i could use a rebuild kit from a xs650? Or if some one could send me a US link where i could buy a kit. I also need the caliper piston. Help me please...

PartsNMore.com sells both the front and rear. They are having problems with their website right now, but this link will get you to the page that displays them. They are part numbers 29-0128 (rear) and 29-0126 (front). You'll need two sets of the front ones to rebuild both calipers. When you click on the link, you may need to click through the security certificate warning. Don't worry about it, as it's just the problems they are having with their site.1980 XS850SG - Sold

IIRC the font bake caliper piston for a special is not available anywhere, or not very likely to be. I believe one of our members John, machined a new one for his ride.Life is what happens while your planning everything else!

I just played around with the PNM website a bit, and I got a message that the front rebuild kits are out of stock at the moment, but the rear ones are available. Well, PNM sells the front kit for $14, and I've found this:
Georgefix is selling 2 kits together here for $28 (that's as good as I've found)
Most of the other places I've seen sell them for right around $50!!
The OEM part number is 4L0-W0047-01-00
BikeBandit Sells them as P/N: 284184-001, for $54.96
Boats.net sells them here for $41.13
Speedsupplies.com sells them here for $49.46

DGXSER is rite....you won't find a new front cal piston for that model. have one machined like was mentioned or like me, keep finding cheap calipers on ebay, buy them, and hope the piston inside is good [or at least better] than the one you have.testing 1-2-3
