    Ape

I spoke to Pat at APE today. They are doing my head. I told him about our group and the need for performance goodies for our old bikes. He asked what are we looking for.

An EFI and Electronic Ignition package complete with fuel pump, pickup and all other bits in an "off the shelf" box would be good. I know about megasquirt and kawasaki injectors etc, but I mean something for those that just want a boxed solution.
1980 SG. (Sold - waiting on replacement)
2000 XJR1300. The Real modern XS11. Others are just pretenders.

      Hi bwalker5,
disappointed to hear you want a boxed solution to anything in Invercargill.Home of the Worlds Fastest Indian I would have thought a chunk of aluminium and a file would be all that was required

Problem with Legends, is that they're generally dead before they become legends, and Burt took his files with him

How about a 6 speed trans, like something out of an R1, shift drum, shaft, counter shaft, gears, and shift forks, something that could be installed in a weekend or something, if nothing else, it could be fun. have a nice day and ride safe

A 5th Overdrive gear would be great..

They make one for the XS650 which has one extra tooth..

I'll second the 5th overdrive gear, something that could just be slipped in during the 2nd gear fix would be awesome. Maybe some sort of bolt on swing arm that would allow a fatter rear tire. A custom triple tree that would allow modern upside down forks on our bikes would be cool. High output electrical bits so we could run more goodies would be cool too.
