Upper and Lower case half paint question

I feel confident that this is the same color that was painted onto the exterior of the transmission case, but since I've never seen a new XS11 and since mine is so faded I'd like to see if anyone can confirm my assumption. Keep in mind my goal is for the end result to be absolutely as close to factory as possible.

So, I am stripping and repainting them or may have a co-worker powder coat them if he can match the paint. However I would think they would be a real pain to mask if they are powder coated.

That looks like the correct color. You should be able to go to a good automotive paint store and have it matched. It does NOT have to be "High Heat", just needs to hold up to about 350 max.
You do NOT want to powder coat some of the aluminum. The heat from the powder coating CAN affect it in a bad way.
