    WOULD ANYONE OF THE MANY DO-IT YOURSELFERS HAPPEN TO KNOW WHERE WE CAN GET MATCHING TOUCH UP PAINT FOR OUR BIKES.I HAVE A XJ1100 AND AM INSTALLING A FAIRING I FOUND FOR IT. IT IS THAT WINE COLOR THEY HAD IN 82 AND I CAN FIND THE CODE.I EMAILED AND CALLED THE YAMAHA HEADQUARTERS ,THEY POMISED INFO BUT I'VE BEEN WAITING 4 MONTH AND THEY HAVE NOT COME THROUGH.HELP!

    Chances are that any factory touch-up paint is either a rock in the bottom of the bottle or won't match anyway since your paint has probably faded anyway. Any decent car shop with a paint booth or auto paint store will be able to colormatch what your part looks like now. That's your best bet but you might have to buy a minimum amount.

    makes me think you'd be better off repainting the whole thing with what ever color you like right now.
