Because i have had too many martinis tonight what is the difference between a 80 SG special and a midnight special.Besides the little logos on the turn signal indicator area what else?I cannot find where this info is located.

On E-Bay several weeeks ago was the little box that covers the bulbs and wiring for the oil light,turn signal indicator and headlight reserve lighting indicator.The part was almost new and cheap so i couldn't resist.Mine on my SG was cracked.For $15.00 i got the whole complete unit including the metal bracket that it attaches to.When it finally arrived it said Midnight Special on top of the little plastic piece.I thought what the hell and beside it is almost brand new.Thats what peaked my curosity about the midnight special.1980 XS1100 SG
