ok you know that throttle screw on the carbs that is preset at the facotory. well when i bouht the bike mine was totally off. the bike didnt work and the owner before me tore the carbs down. does anyone know. how many turns that screw is suppose to have

Start with about a turn and a half. GENTLY seat the screws on the bottom and then turn out 1 1/2 turns. While you are adjusting these, have you taken them out to check if the tip is broken?
