  • Carb Part interchangability

Hey y'all, I recently disassembled my carbs and found the head is broken off my #4 choke plunger. I was wondering if anyone knew what parts can be interchanged from all the different carbs used through the years. I understand that XS 650's are more common and from what i read in the tech tips I may be in luck. "I believe (but haven't tested yet) that '78-79 XS650 carbs use same slides and diaphragms as the '78-'79 XS11. The needle jets and jet needles are different as are the springs. The choke plunger is the same" are just the E's and F's being refered to here or all years and models? I have an SG, I'm thankful for any help.
