Turn signals making me crazy

I'm sorry Randy. I thought you were talking about the locking pins on the sides, not about the bottom contacts. Am about to head to discount auto parts for some 1157 bulbs. Can you tell I know absolutely nothing about bulbs?

In terms of the bulbs interchanging-these sockets are sloppy-and I'll admit I may have "made it fit" or someone beat me to it.

OK, adding the two 1157 bulbs to the front AND going back to the flasher relay (silver can nippondenso) that came with the bike fixed the problems. I would've been troublshooting things for years before thinking "wrong bulb". Can't thank everyone more. Now I can move on to tank cleaning and petcock rebuilding and maybe even get the carbs off for cleaning this week.
