    Looking for petcock repair kits

    For both petcocks on my '82 XJ1100...will Partsnmore have these?
    1980 XS650G Special-Two
    1993 Honda ST1100

    Pretty sure the XJ petcocks are the same as the 79-81 Specials. Should be easy to find. Don't see 'em listed at partsnmore though. Georgefix on eBay has 'em.

      Thanks Phil I did find them on Partsnmore...13 bucks for a set to repair 2 petcocks but they want a minimum order of $35...so F### that.

        Yep, I just checked the P/N's between the XJ and the Special petcocks and they have the same P/N so those kits will work for sure.

          Thanks Phil I just bought 'em...looks like 1 kit will do both petcocks...I also chose priority mail as i want these by next week...so I wound up spending about the same as patrsnmore,but they'll get here sooner...

            Most of the Special sets I've seen do both petcocks AND the octopus.

            Derwat bought a set to do his SF and it came with the octy stuff too.

              Havent got around to it yet but I plan on tossing the Octy...its a royal PITA

                I have no problems with the Octy, except setting the idle screw on #2 carb.

                  There is a post in there about resurfacing the sealing face of the petcock levers. I did this last year after new o-rings didn't stop the leak, and then after the resurfacing they hold perfectly!
                  I know this, because Tyler knows this.
