Need information/help

Does anyone have a book that they can scan or have it on their computer the section of installing the head and setting up the timing for the cams on a 78 XS11? I need help and the book store said they could not get me a book before the end of next month.
I would like to see if this engine is still good after sitting stored since 1982.

Manual

I have the manual for my '79 XS11. The specs should be the same till '80-81 if memory serves me right. Email me or post if you want it and I'll attach it to an email for you.
