  • HEHEHEHE...nother one

Well I saw this on craigslist yesterday for $500.I went to check it out.
    He took $400.It has a new seat,overall good shape.Has 40,000 miles.
He removed the fairingand bags.I got the bags but the fairing is gone.
He says the alternator is bad.He replaced the reg/rect.
So I'll get it unloaded today and see what I really have.
Oh yea, pics.I'll get better ones later.

        Thanks guys.
I watch craigslist daily. Its almost excessive. You dont see em often. But I've learned that when they come up cheap, you have to react quickly.I have dilly dallied plenty and never got it.I have to overide my maybe I should/maybe I shouldnt thoughts(that usually goes on for days). Its hard.lol
BTW ,I wasnt "trying to rub it in" with this post.I just wanted to share my good luck today. My luck usually doesn't run this way.
        Have a great day.

Nice snag, Tarzan. The paint looks like it's in really good shape. I like that crash bar too - looks like it could double as highway pegs.
I think I have a loose screw behind the handlebars.

Way to go,,, I hope you felt bad when you offered him less than five. You should have tried 300. What the heck. He may have been stupid enough to pay you to take it!

Actually he was a real nice guy and he is laid off.Ifelt bad just talking him down at all.I had to meet him yesterday morning to go to the DMV to change the title and he said he got 4 calls yesterday morning.
But hey, life is fickle.I have been in his situation before too.
After I bought it he asked me if I wanted to take the bags, owners manual, and a special tank he had hanging on the wall.I had to oblige.
