    The viragos were fine, I've had 2. The starters were just noisy, normally.

    The fix, when they did go, was about $10.

    I always wanted to put the '82 920 motor into an '82 750 frame.

      Everyone i knew had a 920 or a 750 and had nothing but problems.Every time i bought my XS to work and start it up the Virago guy would give me dirty looks.I had a friend who had a dealership in NJ and had a 920 sit on the floor for 1 1/2 years unable to sell it.

          The front wheel is a 3.25 x 19, the 11 use a 3.5 x 19, so it's a little narrower. The front caliper are different than the 11's special type, they are more like the 81MNS/82XJ's. I didn't check the rotor part # for a cross reference. The Fender might fit depending on the mounting holes, but it's probable sinc it's a special like your machine. But the rear wheel won't work as mentioned before without a lot of modding!T.C.
