You should be able to coast to a stop as many times as you want.Because every time you fire it up and drive off to get some speed to do this the lubrication starts pumping again.Oil, unless it is totally broken down, will take a minute to completely run off and gall parts.
I'm sure they are talking about pulling/towing the bike becuase then you wouldn't have any lubrication at all since the motor wasnt running in the first place.
