  • Only Three Middle Gear Circlips?

I only have and the manual only seems to show three half circle circlips on the middle gear. Is this right? it looks like there is a groove for a fouth circlip (two halves) but I only see three.

Yes, Sam, there are only the three clips.

All three clips are #34 in this picture

Thanks, that is an odd design. I just wanted to make sure before I stuck the cases together. Of course no one in this one horse town sells Yamabond #4. So I will have to wait until next weekend to continue.

        3 to 4

        Yes, it does seem odd.

I have some spare clips so I'll see if the cases will fit together with four clips instead of just the three.
