Wobbly Rear Brake Caliper

Today I decide to put the rotor and caliper and brakes on my bike.

The only bolt i was missing is the one that holds the caliper to the bracket. I got measurements from someone on the board, and got one.

With the bolt as tight as it will go, the whole caliper assembly wobbles.

I haven't blead the brakes yet, due to not knowing if this was supposed to be moveable by hand or what. Is there a spacer that goes between the bracket and the caliper?

The caliper will wobble a bit if the piston isn't up against the pad. The bolt should go thru a bushing in the caliper, make sure that it's there. Bleed 'em and it shouldn't rattle. HTH

Yea, theres a bushing/rubber boot thing on the caliper itself that the bolt goes thru.

I figured bleeding them would take care of it, but i wanted to make sure!

Looks like my bleeder is starting to round off.

Are the front/rear bleeder screws the same size?

I have an extra set of front calipers I could rob a bleeder from.

I will have to try and get this one out w/ vise grips I'm assuming.

I tried a 6 point socket but no luck.

I just had to replace my rear bleeder. I know it's hard to believe, but there was NO HOLE to bleed through on it. It took me a while to figure that one out! I went to the local yamarobber and got one for $14. They should all be the same though, front and back.

Is there anything special about the bleeder screws? Seem to be about the same size as for any car or bike I have ever worked on. Is this one of the only universal sized parts to exist?

I think they may be universal, but couldn't tell with how rounded mine in.
That and I think it may need some PB blaster to loosen it up.
