There was a very recent thread on this. The non roller type is available, but he roller type is all but unobtanium. I think Randy had fussed up a source, about $50 if IIRC. Better look now, they go quick from what I can tell.

If things work out, I'll have four of them next week, i'll let you know. The dealer i WAS getting them from was speed & sport out of bloomsburg, pa. They listed the bearing at $44 on their website. I ordered one, and the bill was $78! i called them on it and they honored the $44, but quickly changed the price on the web to $78. I refuse to deal with them anymore.

ok, so I got my wheels back from the shop and took them home, i preceded to look at the rear wheel bearings and cant seem to find anything that seems bad about the bearing on the left or right side.......

now, is the race suppose to come out on the left side? and there is a collar that sits along side the bearing race they come out the dust sheild? correct?......, the only thing that i found that was flopping around was the collar that comes out the dust sheild, and i was able to pull it out. i couldnt really see/find the oil seal for the bearing.

        suggestions?

          Hey Genius,

There's a tech tip on replacing the rear bearings by Gary Granger, repairs section IIRC, has nice photos and such to show you the parts, seals, etc., so you can better determine what you have, and whether it is normal or not.
