      Something like this??



      I used a complete XJR1300 front end and needed to space out the discs. I used early XS-1 disc centers machined to accept R1 discs. These moved the discs outwards a lot as you can see from the picture above.

      I had trouble with the brake calipers clipping the spokes. Spoked wheels have much less clearance than standard wheels.



      Salvation came when I found some Brembo calipers that were slim enough to miss the spokes

      The benefits of fitting different front ends (nicely coming back on topic now)!

      On top you have the XS yokes and below are the XJR (43mm fork legs).

        shappers, was the xjr1300 front end a direct bolt on? Or what mods did you have to do to make it work?

          The front end almost drops straight in, the XJR stem just needs to be shortened by 25mm. The XS bearings are used. Detailed information can be found HERE

          The benefit of this conversion is that the XJR forks are 'right way up' and longer than the upside down forks so you retain the conventional look of the bike. The lockstops work and even the ignition switch bolts right in!

            fj dropin too i just machined a spacer to remount the bottom frame neck bearing hit with the tig but didn't need to i just like to weld 7/8 inch long spacer took 20 mins on the lathe.
