Rust in the cyinder

Ok, I cleaned up the barrels, from the honing, then put some oil in the rusty cylinder and slid the piston through a few times.

There was no drag or snag on the rust at all, so I think I am ok.

I am going to start putting the top end together tomorrow, so should be able to fire it up next week sometime.

Well, strike 3, this one is done.

I've said that twice before, but I tell you this bike WANTS to die.

I broke a top ring on my big bore, and since there is no where to get new ones, I threw the midnight special, big bore barrels across the room breaking some fins off.

It landed right on top the stock barrels with the pistons sitting on top, so they are probably toast too.

I could only wish that the stupid piece of junk would catch fire, but I doubt Derwat would like that as it is in his garage.

I've had more trouble with this bike that ALL the vehicles I have ever owned put together.

I would consider putting the perfectly running motor out of the SG into it, but then I would have 3 dead engines, once the curse ate into it.
