They're still available from Yamaha for 40 or 50 bucks each. I see singles or sets occasionally on ebay too if you're not in a hurry. Are you looking for an intake or exhaust? Maybe someone here has one to give or sell. Check with Andreas too. I'm sure he has them.

        Kirmit,

While you're at it, check the seat in the head where that valve came from for a corresponding blemish. You DO know which hole that valve came from, right?

          i do know!

the seat itself looks okay. i have all of the valves in order and numbered. already checked with andreas and he has none... bummer.. its the intake if i remember correctly. im not anywhere near the bike right now but im pretty sure its the intake. CANT FIND THEM and there is no way ill pay 50 for one. Thats just RIDICULOUS for something so small!!

I usually get them for the 78-79 motors from eBay store Rusty Riders. He's got the new exhaust valves for $10 now, but no intake valves . The XS750 valve is the same valve for the 78-9 head, I'm running one right now in my '79. Good luck, I'm sure someone will have an extra.

Make sure that you get the correct size. Intake valves are bigger diam in the newer xs11's.

pretty sure phil know what he's talking about, and as it happens, I have a XS750 triple in the basement, in pieces. BUT, I've not taken the valves out, yet.
do you have a micrometer, if so send me the specs, I'll match them up!

I'm 100% positive that the intake and exhaust valves from the 750's interchange with the early 1100 head (78-79). The Yamaha P/N for the intake valve is 1J7-12111-00. If you check the numbers, you'll see they're the same. I went thru this about a year ago when I bent a valve in one of my 79's, and didn't want to pay big $ for a new one.

Here's the part number interchange page...
