  • Is this a good deal?

I found this today. Seems a little to ragged out though, and don't know about "parts a plenty" . What do you guys think?

    Go look

Wouldn't hurt to go look at it. I went up to Dallas tx today and I live in Houston (LONG DRIVE) to look at a bike and it was ok but the price was about the same.

I would look at it. Thats Just me!

Black - $850 for a parts bike seems high to me, but like Kermit said, it never hurts to look. Just don't talk yourself into buying it before you get there .
I think I have a loose screw behind the handlebars.

I don't think it is a parts bike, but still a bit pricey if you ask me. Paid not to much more for mine and cosmetically it is in much better shape from what I see. Mine runs decent to.

I hate that catchall "Just needs a tune up and carbs cleaned up". To me that says beware!! Wouldn't touch one like that without a compression check and spark check first.

I wouldnt offer more than $300 for that thing. It looks like it has plenty of rust as well as just plain run down.We all know how you can put $100 in the carbs,$150 tires, fuse box, fork seals, blah blah blah....Next thing you know you have a pile of money in it.
But for a couple hundred bucks it wouldnt matter even if it turned out it was only good for parts.
