  • Head Gasket

Anyone know of a good place to get a head gasket for a 79 XS1100F? Local dealer wants 86 bucks. Seems a bit steep for just one gasket. Will also need a valve cover gasket. Reason: #2 plug is oil-fouling, gonna hafta fix some valves it appears. Thanx for any info.

Try this dealer. They give great discounts and are very good.

Fixing the valves won't stop the oil blow-by. Your bike needs a ring job or something.

You can buy a complete gasket set for about that much, I *believe* partsnmore has it, I know Dennis Kirk has a Vesrah complete kit for about $100.
