    starter?

    my xj1100 is having an issue. when i press the starter it sometimes clicks and does nothing. any idea which part i need.

      Hi Steve,
      try running booster cables from your car battery. If the problem goes away the bike battery is either in need of charging or it's fritzed.

              Also you might want to check the solinoid behind the right side-cover. Just jump the two largest terminals
              1978 XS1100E, full dress w/Velorex 700 side car (My Blue 'leven) 1980 XS1100SG (as of yet un-named)
