    I have seen on occasion that the filiment inside the bulb for the brake can break and fall on top of the filiment for the tail light, and that will allow the current to back feed throught the brake light circuit. Have you check for that?

      Have you pulled the wire off the oil pressure switch yet?
      if the lite goes out, the switch is the problem, if it doesnt go out, you can leave it disconected while you work with the front brake switch, just dont let the wire touch any metal this would/should otherwise keep the lite on.
