    carbs?

    put the carbs on, runs decent on full choke,off choke two or three cylinders until i rev it real high. checked for vacuume leaks don't think i have any.getting fire on all four. any suggestions? thanks!

    Sounds like you have a pilot screw set too lean. Have you adjusted your idle mix and synched the carbs?

      Sounds like you still have a plugged pilot circuit. The pilot jet controls fuel from idle to about 4K. After that, the mains take over and they are much larger size and don't plug up as easy. First, find which cylinder(s) aren't firing by spraying water on the header pipes. The one(s) that don't sizzle isn't firing. Try turning that idle screw out a bit to richen it up. If you didn't take all the jets and idle mixture screws out when cleaning, you'll probably have to do it again.

        makes sense. considering all the crap that came out of the gas tank it was a nightmare!
