dave, i just had some longer bolts welded to flat stock. they've held up for years.- dan

you can use them, you just need to make them so the dont turn when you tighten the nut.- dan

I was thinking about having bolts welded to flat stock, as Stray Bullet suggested. I also have one seat with the carriage bolts on it, but didn't like how loose they were. The popcicle stick idea from Skids was very original, and along the lines of something I might do. Thanks for the ideas.HighlanderComment
