  • looking for dremel fix expert

Im looking for someone that is really good at doing the dremel fix. Bigfoot on here is gonna help me do the job but I would like to not take up too much of his time. I thought if I purchased a trans from andre on here and shipped it to someone to do the dremel work then when Bigfoot comes over we could just do the job and not take up his whole day.

    Thanks

I just did the dremel fix on gears 1-3, and it really doesn't take an "expert". Just follow the pictorial, and you can finish it in an hour or two. I used a pneumatic die grinder to do the initial, large grinding, then the dremel to do the finishing touches. It's easy, and definitely not rocket science. I would say to just DIY, and save the possible frustration and cost of shipping the heavy gears all over.

I'm no expert, but I did stay at a Holliday Inn once

I have to agree with CatatonicBug. It's real easy to do if you follow the pictorial. It took me maybe an hour and a half to back cut all the 1st and 2nd dogs/slots with a Dremil. Still waiting to test it out since I can't seem to get it to fire on #2 yet.
