I'm trying to figure out my braking issues (seems to be a hot topic lately
), and I got all the way to the point of realizing that the proportioning valve on my rear MC is not sending pressure to the rear caliper like it should. I took the cover off of it and removed the spring, but the actual valve body did not seem like it wanted to come out. To prevent myself from ruining it, I figured I would ask you guys first. How is that thing supposed to come out? Should I just grip it with some needle-nose and pull firmly? Is there some kind of retaining clip I am missing? It wiggles in the hole, and even spins with only finger grip pressure, but I want to pull it out to get it cleaned and re-seated. What do I do next?
