Bike is running good at higher RPMs, at least I do not feel the same miss I am getting at lower RPMs. Definitely notice it at idle although it seems intermitent at idle.
Spark plugs for 2,3, and 4 come out looking new, not tan or anything, white tips and clean electrode. No 1, comes out looking like a coal plant. So I turned my mixture screw in a half a turn, and cleaned the plug up. Took about a 8 mile ride leeting the bike run done in low RPM, but not much idle time. No 1 now looks good except a little soot around the thread ring.
Next ride, about 12 miles and some stop lights. Notice the missing again, back to number 1 looking like a coal mine, 2,3, and 4 still clean. Also, I switched plugs between 1 and 2 to be sure it was not a bad plug. Can I switch plug wires between 1 and 4? Will they both still spark at the right time? I'm thinking that will answer if it is electrical or carburation. It is hard for me to think that one carb would need that much less idle screw than the other three.
