  • carb circuits

I know I have seen these on here, but I cant seem to use the right words in the search. Can anybody hook me up to the carb circuit diagrams. I know I have seen them showing a red line where the fuel flowed in each circuit. Thanks

Money can't buy happiness, but it can get you an XS11 and that's a start.

Although that is a mighty fine diagram it is unfortunatly not the one I was looking for. It does help in understanding these things for sure. The one I remember was not as clearly drawn but had red lines where the fuel routes were. Maybe I was on another site when I saw the one I am thinking about. By the way what wording did you use in search or did you have it bookmarked or something? Thanks

Hes talking about people repairing the diaphrams with that plasti - dip.I read somewhere that someone coated a bad one with it and it worked. But I read the can and I dont see where it would be impervious to gas.

Plasti-dip DOES hold up to gas. I used the spray on the bow of my Zodiac with stencils for the CF numbers. It has been washed with some toxic stuff now and then, and is still there.

I found this old thread and the links have some useful info:

                http://www.xs11.com/forum/showthread...arb#post120220

This link shows the carb circuits in B/W and it's not for the BS34's but.....:

He's talking about fuel routing diagrams not carb diaphragms.

                    Maybe this one?

I think this one may be what you're looking for, but for some reason the diagrams aren't showing up. I have this one printed out and used it on my bike when I routed my fuel lines. Maybe a moderator can explain how to view the diagrams.

                      Hey Chuck,

The photos were added/updated and linked in the tech tips in the DROP DOWN menus, but they didn't get updated/linked in the FORUM version, I just fixed them, they show now in the Forum version. T.C.

                        Not quite right yet...

He is looking where fuel flows in the different circuits INSIDE the carbs - not fuel line routing. Anybody know where to find this for him? I'm lazy.

                            Getting closer?

Not the correct diagrams... but good info anyway

and maybe will help you a little? See Ken's pics down the page...

I vaguely remember seeing those diagrams and have tried searching for them too... but no luck... yet...

                              closer

Thanks guys and gals. I have used just about every search word I can think of and have not found the diagram I was thinking of. Maybe if I had a better grasp of basic vocabulary I could come up with the correct wording. Any and all of the posts have helped in some way. I am trying to have a better understanding of how these things work, so when I open mine up I will know more.
