  • Oil Cooler and Spaghetti Pipes

I have a Lockhart and a thermostat which I disconnected when I installed a set of Jardines in the fall.
I want to have it hooked back up for summer.
The plumbing is tricky, does anyone have a good photo of the setup? If I leave the thermostat off, it would be easier, but I like the idea of controling the temp at the cooler.

I am thinking of going to hard lines.

Ya know Dan, where you live I wouldn't think a cooler would be needed. Now where you used to live is a different story. I have a Lockhart with Spaghetti pipes but I have omitted the thermostat. I just strap the cooler hoses to the down tubes of the frame.

You are right about that John, but I plan to make the run down South in June and I know what June can be like in that part of the world. And I also know what DFW traffic is like too!

        Winter,
I see what you did there. That bracket is what I was contemplating to keep the lines from fouling on the pipes. Is it part of the cooler mount?
        Thanks.
