  • New springs

    I bought some new springs on ebay.They are suppose to be stock optional springs.They are brand new.I got em for $20.50 + $12 shipping.Anyway ,I am wondering if anyone can tell me what they actually are.part # is
    3J6-22212-A0
    It looks like I'll be having some fun installing these on my old shocks.

      Thanks bikerphil,
      I guess even a three legged dog gets a bone ,once in a while.I was watching that auction and couldnt believe I actually won it.They will look good and hopefully have a little more rigidity.

        Got a spring compressor? Those new HD springs are gonna be a MF without one.

          No,I dont have a spring compressor.I saw a post a couple days ago of one someone fabbed with althread and wood blocks,was that you?
          I'll have to build something like that.I can find some scrap steel at work to make a decent one out of.

              Hydraulic press

              Someone on this site built a hydraulic press to change springs. I don't recall who it was, he posted pictures of it. I built one just like it and it works great. I have changed 3 pair of spring with it. You can change a spring in about 2 minutes from start to finish. I think i showed it to Matt and Bob when they were at my place in Lost in Ill 2008.
